Yeast pellets made of inactivated torula yeast, is an excellent food attractant for many fruit flies, particularly the olive fly (Bactrocera oleae) and the Mediterranean fruit fly (Ceratitis capitata).
Yeast pellets are intended to be used in insect traps such as Smart Trap, McPhail or similar type traps.
